school visit april

On March 24 and 25 about 150 third graders, teachers and chaperones from Navigator School came to the museum in groups, each lasting an hour and a half. During that time, they visited a 19th century schoolroom, made butter, made an old-fashioned decorative craft and toured the gallery.

Hamburg Family Fun Fest

The History Hydration Station at the Hamburg Family Funfest offered visitors a look at early Hamburg and a water refresher.

Spring tea

State Representative Jennifer Conlin (right) talks with Marie Sarnacki, history teacher from South Lyon East High School at the museum following the Springtime Tea honoring America’s Founding Mothers. Marie, an awardwinning history teacher spoke to guests as they enjoyed tea, scones, tea sandwiches and sweet treats.

easter egg hunt 2026

March 28 brought the annual Egg Hunt, and a lively group of kids and grown ups enjoyed a sunny hunt with prizes, candy and a golden egg and then made a fluffy bunny or funky flower craft.
