Spinning wheel demo

Spinning wizard, Krista Smith, live, on-site to fascinate by demonstrating the transformation of fiber from wool roving to yarn us-ing a vintage spinning wheel. She will have other spinning related tools and fibers available for guests to examine and ask questions. While at the museum you will also be able to see our antique spinning wheel exhibit.

Krista has been interested in fiber arts since she learned to sew at 8 years old. Her love for creative arts has grown to include weaving, spinning, and dyeing fiber. She loves sharing her passion for creativity with others, and has been teaching and demonstrating handmade crafts locally for several years.
