Ready to knit something different this winter?

Join us Sat. Feb. 15 (12:00 – 1:30) To cast-on the unique “WHAT’S YOUR POINT SCARF” by Carole Carr.

Denise and Pat will be on hand with a sample scarf and will help you get started on this beauty. The scarf is based on a 9 row pattern repeat and does require a bit of counting. We plan to complete at least one 9 row sequence that afternoon. The finished scarf is lightweight and cozy and can be worn several ways.

For this project the supplies needed are:

• -24” size 5 circular needle (size 6 if you are a tight knitter)
• -1 Skein of variegated sock yarn (prefer #2 weight) OR at least 60 grams of assorted sock yarn left-overs.
• We’ll have some sock yarn scraps on hand to supplement your stash)
• -Pattern is FREE on Ravelry and we will have copies available.

Please be comfortable with the following stitches: cast on, knit, and purl

This pattern features the Central Double Decrease (CDD) stitch and we will demo it if that stitch is new to you.

This project is somewhat time consuming, so we will gather again on March 8th. to answer questions and cheer each other on!

• School-age young people need a parent to accom-pany them and sign a permission slip. They do not have to remain with the child.
